This being my first time at A-Basin I was hoping to ride Montezuma Bowl; the weather gods however didn't feel this was a good idea and decided to bring in wind gust of up to 40-50mph. The wind and flat light made for miserable conditions near the top. We decided it would be best to stay in the areas protected from the wind. This meant of course hitting the park a couple of times. The snow wasn't too bad in places but overall the quality was a bit lagging. We called it a short day and booked around noon, making it back to Boulder by 2:00 PM. Here is the run that made the day worthwhile
