So for those of you that don’t know, my good buddy, climbing flick producer and Santa Barbara strong man, Paul Dusatko has just launched a new website all about Santa Barbara bouldering. Paul bills the site as
A climber’s guide to bouldering in California’s Riveria… aka Sandstone Heaven… for News, Photos, Video, Route Updates, First Ascent Info, Beta, Climber Interviews, and much more…
Check it out and encourage Paul to update it often. Also of you have any info on FA’s, broken holds or anything applicable to the Santa Barbara scene, shoot Paul and email at paul@integrity7.com
This site will be a good supplement to Brian Spiering’s site, American Riviera Bouldering, which deals strictly with development of new lines in the Santa Barbara areas. Brian has been blogging on the subject for about a year and has his hand in a lot of the new lines that are going up in the area; whether it’s finding the lines and sending them himself or cleaning them up and putting someone on them who can get the FA. A totally selfless boulderer, he is just psyched to see new lines go up and has pure intentions on developing the area.
Both of these sites are a tremendous source of information to anyone new to the climbing scene in Santa Barbara and I encourage everyone to check them often and get out there and climb! Santa Barbara has so much potential and many lines that are just waiting to be sent, it’s a shame if we just let them sit there. Since the opening of Vertical Heaven in Ventura, CA in October of 2006, the scene has just exploded and there are many new climbers in the area. It’s important to keep these excited, new climbers educated and informed on the ethics and practices of the local spots and I couldn’t think of two better guys to do it. Keep up the good work you two.

Just Kidding Buddy!! Thanks for the Love - I was just messin’ You Know I’m psyched
Keep Cranking homie!
I don’t have “pure intentions.” My blog is entirely selfish. It tricks me into bouldering locally because I have to update it. Otherwise, I would just look at climbing porn, train, and go on road trips.
