Fire, Snow and Bloody Tips

Went to The Happies to get away from the sharp granite of the Buttermilks and give our skin a bit of a rest but it was not to be. Somehow a fire got started in the brush grass about a mile away from The Happies parking lot and spread very quickly due to the wind. We decided to beat feet, which turned out to be a wise move because by the time we got to the parking lot the fire was about 150 - 200 feet away. Well we got back to the Buttermilks, the wind was out of control and it soon started to snow. Needless to say not much climbing got done yesterday.
